Overview

This 9-day Himalayan expedition launches from Siliguri into Sikkim's dramatic landscapes, blending motorcycle adventures, scenic drives, and cultural discoveries for thrill-seekers and photographers. Days 1-3 establish Gangtok as the hub for local monastery tours, panoramic viewpoints, bustling markets, and a high-altitude day trip to Tsomgo Lake, Nathula Pass, and the thrilling zig-zags of the Old Silk Route. Northward, it intensifies with rides to Lachung, immersing travelers in Zero Point's snowy expanses and Yumthang Valley's rhododendron blooms along the Teesta River.

The core thrill extends post-Zero Point to Gurudongmar Lake—one of the world's highest—at 17,800 feet, looping back via rugged trails to Mangan before descending south. En route, savor Temi Tea Garden's organic tastings, the sacred stillness of Khecheopalri Lake, gushing Kanchenjunga Waterfall, and a cozy Geyzing homestay night. Cultural peaks include Pelling's vistas and Pemayangtse Monastery's ancient murals, fostering bonds over chai breaks and Himalayan lore.

Wrapping in Gangtok on Day 8 for final reflections amid MG Marg's vibe, Day 9 delivers a seamless drop-off to Siliguri. Flexible for backpackers with shared transfers, the pace prioritizes acclimatization, permits for restricted zones, and weather safety, balancing adrenaline rides with serene lakes, waterfalls, and Kanchenjunga views—ideal for Traviator-style group expeditions.
